Chief Population Health Officer
Pedro Cordero is Chief Population Health Officer and spearheads key initiatives for ensuring and improving Cano Health’s clinical and financial outcomes. Cordero, whose role is to aggregate patient data using various information technology resources, has been instrumental in helping Cano Health become one of the fastest growing health care companies in the nation.
Prior to joining Cano Health, Cordero led the finance team of Palm Medical Centers, a portfolio company of M.B.F. Health Care Partners, the equity firm lead by nationally renowned health care entrepreneur Mike Fernandez. Cordero regularly attends Cano Health board meetings and prepares and presents financial reports at monthly Performance Initiatives meetings.
Cordero earned a B.A. and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University. He lives with his wife and two children in Miami Lakes, FL.
