Barbara Ferreiro

As Chief Brand Officer, Barbara is responsible for the company’s brand strategy, integrated marketing, and demand generation.
Having been part of one of the first managed care demonstration projects in the U.S., she is considered by many to be a building block of the industry, having created many of the marketing strategies that are widely used today. Her extensive career portfolio also includes in-depth expertise in product development, change management, and crisis communication.
Prior to joining Cano Health, she served for nine years as a strategic marketing leader for Humana’s multibillion Florida Medicare business – one that she helped build to the #1 position in the state.
She holds a B.A. in Communication and a dual M.A./M.B.A. with a focus in marketing management from the University of Miami.
