Get Healthy With Cano Fit!

When you’re ready to lose weight, we have a medically guided weight loss program designed to help you reach your goal. With so many fad diets out there, it’s important that you chose a healthy way to take off the pounds. Cano Fit, a weight loss program by Cano Health, offers you a personalized medical plan that is tailored to your needs to help you lose weight and keep it off.

It’s been proven that being overweight can contribute directly to developing serious health conditions, such as high blood pressure, type II diabetes, elevated cholesterol, sleep disorders, and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Juan and Cano Health created this weight loss program to help reduce these serious risks. Studies have shown that even a modest loss of 5-10% of your body weight can reduce cardiovascular disease risk dramatically.

The Weight Loss Program

When you first start the program, you will receive your BMI, your normal weight and measurements for your gender and height, a weight goal, and body composition analysis.

Our medical-guided program provides you with a detailed plan, guidance, and menu of meals to follow to achieve your weight loss goals.

The meals include:

  • Two shakes a day and one meal per day (either lunch or dinner) during your initial period.
  • Two meals and one shake a day after.

You also have the advantage of all the wellness services and extras provided to you by Cano Health:

The number of steps you should walk in a day

To determine how many steps you should walk in a day, determine how many steps you usually walk in a day as your baseline. The average American walks 3,000-4,000 steps a day.
After you know your baseline, add 1,000 steps per day every two weeks.

Tips for getting more steps in during the day

  • Listen to music while you walk.
  • Bring a relative or friend along for your stroll.
  • Take a walking stick if you need it for balance or joint soreness.
  • Walk every time you get a phone call and walk while you talk.
  • Walk while you wait. Whether you’re waiting for a doctor’s appointment, dentist appointment, or hair coloring, take that time to get up and move around.
  • Take the stairs.
  • Park further away in the parking lot
